On modern vehicles the front bumper is an integral component of the vehicle fascia, and combined with the grille and headlights forms the vehicle's “face”. The first bumpers were utilitarian metal bars that extended from the front and rear of vehicles on brackets. They were sacrificial components designed to absorb impacts and protect the vulnerable sheet metal behind them. As automotive styling advanced, bumpers were integrated into the body and became more of a styling feature than a protection device. Today bumpers are typically flexible plastic covers concealing the impact absorbing mechanism, and most of the bumpers we offer replace the factory bumper cover, and some replace the entire front fascia.

As you can see from the many bumpers shown on this page, our front bumpers are the perfect addition to a performance car. They not only have aggressive looks, but many incorporate air dams, lips, or spoilers for a more aerodynamic appearance and function that will help your car hug the road. Many also incorporate a mesh grille and/or openings for mounting fog lights as well as ducts that can be used for engine air intake or cooling brakes or intercoolers. They're constructed from sturdy materials including carbon fiber, urethane, ABS plastic, fiberglass and fiberglass composite. Each bumper has been carefully designed for a specific application, so you can be assured of ease of fitment and styling that will perfectly complement the rest of your car. Bumpers are delivered ready for prep and paint.

Style varies according to brand and application, but many have cut outs for exhaust tips and most have a ground effects augmenting shape or incorporate a diffuser, that's a perfect accompaniment to other aero mods like side skirts. We also offer fiberglass replicas of heavy chrome steel front and rear bumpers so you can lighten your race car, and bumper “add-ons”. The latter includes carbon fiber air ducts, bumper inserts, and canards for front bumpers, and carbon fiber exhaust shields for rear bumpers, as well as additions for rear bumpers that give the appearance of extending the side skirts to the end of the vehicle.

Another custom styling option besides replacing the original bumper is to install a custom valance. A valance installs just below the bumper. They're available for the front and rear for many applications to create a distinctive styling touch and add a measure of protection, and for some models they're available in your choice of styles. A valance can cover unsightly mechanical components, give your vehicle a lowered look and more aerodynamic appearance, and provide additional protection against dirt and debris. Many front valances include grilles and/or have provisions for fog lights. Rear valances may also be referred to as filler panels, bumper extensions, or diffusers, and many have cut outs for exhaust tips.
