Driveshafts and U-Joints and CV-Joints have a hard enough job transferring power from the transmission/transaxle to wheels and axles that are constantly in motion. Add a lot of horsepower to the mix or steeper driveshaft angles and greater suspension articulation commonly found on lifted off-roaders and the task becomes a lot tougher. Our driveshafts are built with thicker wall tubing to handle the load and some off-road applications feature double-cardan style CV-Joints for added strength and reduced vibration at extreme operating angles.

Performance transaxles, transfer cases, and differentials provide the gearing that enables you to keep your engine in the powerband, for neck snapping acceleration and high speed. A different ratio ring & pinion set is a great way to get more giddyup off the line but it's also a necessity to maintain performance on trucks and SUVs when you bolt on a tall set of wheels and tires. And to make sure you're not stuck with one wheel spinning, bolt in a limited slip differential or locking differential and get traction on any surface.

Wheel hubs and bearings are the last link in the chain, where the power gets put to terra firma by the wheel and tire assembly. These parts are often neglected, yet they have the important role of supporting the axle shaft and mounting the wheel, with as little power loss from friction as possible. They're especially important when you add the weight of large diameter off-road wheels and tires. Our wheel hubs are made of the strongest steel and precision machined, with premium wheel bearings that can handle the increased load, and wheel seals to keep the grease where it belongs and dirt and dust out.

By design, the driveline system of your vehicle can withstand a significant amount of abuse. However, if you go with larger tires, add a lift or leveling kit, you will increase leverage of the axletubes, which may cause the tubes to bend and get misaligned that in turn significantly reduces the service life of bearings, and may result in the destruction of your ring and pinion set-up. To prevent this unpleasant turn of events, you may install an axle truss, which will provide needed support for your axles. Based on your needs and the type of your vehicle, you may choose between over-the-axle trusses and under-the-axle trusses.
