So, you have your eye on a set of fat tires mounted on awesome negative offset rims for your machine. But as often happens, when you measure you find that your stock fender wells aren't big enough to allow fitment of the wheels and tires you want. You can compromise and settle for skinnier tires and rims with a more conservative offset, or you can realize your dreams and get serious race car looks in the process with a set of our custom fenders. You'll get an incomparable appearance boost and be able to run the custom wheels and tires that will give you the stance and performance you want.

No question: a set of wide low profile meats on large diameter rims with an aggressive negative offset, all tucked under the fenders, are eye candy for car buffs. And they're great for performance too. A negative offset pushes the width of the wheels and tires outward, widening the track and improving stability and cornering. And wider tires increase traction for acceleration, cornering and braking. However, with stock fenders there are limitations to how much width and negative offset you can run. Too much and the wheels and tires can stick out past the fenders, with the fenders scraping the tires.

There are some mods you can do that will give you a bit more room for wheels and tires. You can roll the fenders and run more negative camber. However, the former is only going to give you an incremental improvement, and the latter is going to cause abnormal tire wear and handling. The only way to be able to run your choice of wheels and tires and get ready for the race track looks is with our custom fenders. These fenders are generally wider than stock and many are described as “wide body” fenders. Many are modeled after the fenders found on race cars that are based on or built to resemble stock body cars and run in series like IMSA and Touring Car, and at endurance races like Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring.

Each fender has been carefully designed to complement a particular vehicle, and since all of these materials are lighter than steel, you'll enjoy an even greater performance advantage. Besides the width you need for wheel and tire fitment and the aggressive looks you want, many fenders also feature inserts, louvers, vents, or ducts that are both functional and attractive. But don't think our selection of custom fenders is restricted to road cars. Wide wheels and big off-road tires are common additions to 4x4 trucks, but like cars, they can create clearance issues, and when they protrude out past the fenders they can throw mud, dirt, rocks and debris all over the sides of the truck, damaging the finish. Our fender flares are certainly an option for coverage and protection, but if you want a more cohesive, finished, factory-like look then go for our custom fenders.
