Some mods that improve performance and capability, like a high capacity aluminum radiator or high-flow intake manifold, look great naturally and provide a simultaneous appearance boost. But other parts like chrome valve covers may be installed more as eye candy than for any functional benefits. When you build your engine to make more power, with high compression or forced induction, it will generate a lot more heat as well. The cooling system must be upgraded to handle the temperatures or your powerful, expensive engine will overheat. Kits come with chrome or anodized aluminum red/blue end caps/clamps that really set off the hoses, or without clamps.

But even if you're on a budget you can still have custom braided stainless steel hoses. Our braided steel sleeves can be easily slipped onto your coolant hoses, and give your machine a unique look at a fraction of the cost of AN stainless steel hose. They're cut to length for a perfect fit, and along with great looks will also protect your hoses from abrasion. Choose from sleeve-only kits or for the full custom hose effect, sleeve kits with anodized red or blue, or chrome, aluminum end caps/clamps.
