No matter the blackness of the night, you can stay safe and see obstacles and trail conditions near and far with off-road lights from our huge selection. We have lights with your choice of Halogen, LED, and Xenon HID (High Intensity Discharge) bulbs, with the latest design reflectors and lenses, mounted in rugged housings that can handle vibration and shock from the roughest terrain. Choose from a wide range of shapes and sizes, as well as single and multi-row light bars that provide the ultimate in illumination.
The off-road lights we offer on our digital shelves are available in various beam patterns. For instance, the Driving beam produces a rectangular shaped beam pattern which can reach further and wider than headlights. The Spot beam produces a tight, focused circular beam of light which allows you to see further ahead toward the horizon. The Flood beam provides a large wide pattern that floods an area with an extremely wide horizontal and tall vertical light pattern. The Combo pattern combines both the Flood and Spot beams.
In addition to choice of beam pattern, we offer a large selection of bulb types with various degrees of illumination. Halogen bulbs are more efficient than standard incandescents, and much brighter. We have Halogen lights with 55W-130W bulbs in color temperatures from amber to bright white to blue. Xenon HID lights have 2-3 times the output of Halogen bulbs with less power consumption. The light they produce is so brilliant, it's often been compared to daylight. Unlike Halogen bulbs, HID lights do not have fragile filaments, which can fail due to shock and vibration. Instead an arc is passed between 2 electrodes inside the bulb that ignites the Xenon gas.
LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) last much longer than other forms of lighting, 50,000 hours or more. They're also unaffected by shock and vibration, making them particularly appropriate for off-road use. LEDs consume the least amount of power of any type of light, so you can mount as many lights as you want without straining your electrical system. LED bulbs are commonly grouped together, to provide powerful illumination and precise beam control. Because of their small size, they can be arranged in lamps of many different shapes and sizes, so you can fit lights in spaces you never thought possible. LEDs with different beam pattern reflectors can also be included in one housing, often called combo beams.
Off-roading will reveal a weakness in any light, so to make sure you don't get stuck in the dark miles from civilization, all of our lights are extensively tested for durability. Only lights that can operate flawlessly during extreme temperature variations, and pass water spray or submersion tests, and vibration tests simulating off-road conditions, end up on our digital shelves. Our lights come in sizes ranging from compact cubes that can fit into bumper openings to huge multi-row light bars that span the roof of a truck. And to protect your lights we have a large selection of grille-type covers will guard your lights while they're in use, and solid covers to shield your lights so they're intact when you need them.
In addition to our great selection of lights, we also offer a complete line of mounts and brackets so you can install your lights in the optimal location for illumination and appearance, as well as the wiring harnesses, connectors, switches, and hardware that will ensure your installation goes smoothly. We have light bars for above the windshield and for in front of the grille and bumper, and brackets for the license plate and fairlead. Harnesses typically include relays, connectors, and even wire ties, and you can choose from rocker/toggle style or push button switches that illuminate when the switch is activated. Plus we have electrical necessities like heat shrink tubing, split wire looms, cable clamps, and more.
