Large runners At 630cc per cylinder, the vr38 is 21% per cylinder larger than most 3.0l 6cyl and 2.0l 4cyl. On a cylinder to cylinder basis. To put a small runner on such a large cylinder is like putting a restrictor plate on the engine.
Heat Shields As the front of the GT-R is Aluminum, an unshielded kit can distort or weaken the front end of the vehicle. Also on the passenger side, the fuel lines must be kept cool for both the obvious fire reasons, but also to avoid tuning issues with a varying fuel density. Also if the fuel is allowed to get too hot, it can cause vapor lock issues at the inlets of very high flow pumps.
Pre-Assembled Because of the very tight fitment of the R35 engine bay, we feel that the alignment of the kit must be perfect. The V-Band connections allow for a multitude of clocking positions, if not clocked perfectly, there could be many in and out attempts for install. This will cost either the shop or the customer excess money. To minimize this confusion, our kits come pre-assembled, with all water and oil lines installed. This will be a major labor savings at time of install.
Equal length runners All cylinders, front to back and side to side have runners of a mean length of 12" =/- .300 This allows for precise tuning, crisper throttle response and less individual cylinder trimming. Also to compliment the 12" length which will work best 6500-8000 rpm, we use a moderately angled merge collector so there is a powerful scavenging effect to adjacent cylinders at the collector. This creates less back pressure at the exhaust valves and better overall breathing of the engine.
Wastegates in line with flow With the very high flow rates of the new billet wheel turbos, we have found the wastegate system must be very efficient, or else boost creep could be induced. As well a keeping run away boost under control, a very efficient wastegate system will allow tuners to start a tune at a much lower boost pressure, ensuring that the whole tuning process is done safely.
Factory Intake, IC pipe positions Both the intakes and intercooler pipes terminate in factory positions, allowing the turbo kit to bolt up to your existing stock turbo intakes and Intercooler kits.
Down Pipes to factory locations The High flowing 3" v band downpipes terminate at factory location allowing perfect connection to factory or aftermarket Y pipes. Downpipes are also bracketed to help locate the correct clocking outside the car
Critical Lines Away from heat All of the Oil/Water lines are routed away from heat, down and around the turbos, instead of over and across the turbos. This will ensure a lifetime service life for these lines, while also lowering the temperatures of the fluids within the lines.
Support Brackets for Critical Lines All Oil / Water lines are bracketed to prevent vibration or failures. This is extremely important for track vehicles, where high vibration and G forces can cause premature failure of unsupported lines.
Fully ported at every transition From the head flanges to the exhaust flanges and even the PCV barbs in between, we pride ourselves on the best craftsmanship and attention to detail in the industry. This means that all flanges are surfaced, all transitions ported, and all pieces are clean. These details may not make any major power differences, but it can be the difference in numbers such as 998 vs 1002 whp.

Returns & Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery.
- All returns and exchanges must be made via our return system.
- Returns will have a flat 15% restocking fee.
- Product(s) must be in new condition and in the original packaging (please do not assemble, install, or modify the product in any way). In the event of fitment, flaw or defect pictures may be necessary to complete your request.
- Any product that was used or fully/partially installed is non-returnable.
- In some cases, return of the physical product may not be required. For these products, instructions will be provided on how to process a field destroy or dispose of the original item.
- The few exceptions for items that cannot be returned include:
- Items classified as “special order†or “made to orderâ€
- Custom Wheels & Tires Packages

Cancellations
We all know that things happen a people change their mind as soon as the purchase things. We take pride in how quickly we get things out the door and with 4 warehouses to ship from plus stock owned at our manufacturers, that speed is always increasing. This is why we only except full cancellations within 30 minutes of placing an in stock order. This helps us ensure your package gets out on the truck immediately or can be flagged before it goes through the packaging process. For orders that are not in stock or special order, we allow 24 hours. Cancellations can be done online by following the instructions found HERE or by emailing support@jmautoracing.com ,
Your request will be processed as quickly as possible, but please note that sometimes products ship quicker than expected. After 24 hours, or after an out of stock item has been confirmed, fees will apply to all cancellations with the exception of Special Order items, made to order items or custom built items; which can not be cancelled after the 24 hour period. Items confirmed on reserve or pre-ordered are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. This fee is not to rip you off in any way. When you place an order, we lose 3% due to credit card processing, and also another 3% to credit your account. The other 4% is much less then what is needed to cover all other costs and expenses lost by cancelling an order, that was already processed. This fee is will only be imposed on orders that have not shipped. If a special order has been placed, such as pistons, turbo's, etc., and the items are built and ready to ship out, and a cancellation is requested, a 25% cancellation fee will be imposed IF possible to be cancelled.

What are my shipping fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JM Auto Racing error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided.
Freight, international & non-continental US returns are accepted, however coordination of return shipping is the responsibility of the client. In the event an error is made by JM Auto Racing, a return shipping label will be provided.
Сore deposits
Some products sold on JM Auto Racing include a core deposit. These parts have a deposit that is charged upon purchase and fully refunded upon the return of the core. Cores must be in rebuildable condition and matching vehicle application to the product sold. Once the product is received and inspected, the deposit will be refunded to your original form of payment. Note: Product cores returned that are not fully assembled or are not the unit that was removed from the vehicle, will not be refunded and the core will be discarded. Defective, damaged, or incorrect products
We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use, install, modify, or repair the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. In some instances, return of the product may not be required. Products must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier. Photos of the damage, defect, or fitment issue may be requested in order to correctly process your request. For items mispackaged or missing, returns and replacements will be handeled as warranty requests, subject to manufacturer involvement and normally handled within 24-48 hours. Please note that products must be in the original packaging and there are additional requirements for products that ship freight.
LTL and Freight Shipments will cover the delivery of most oversized items, including but not limited to, body kits, hoods, trunks, spoilers, doors, roll cages. Items should be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery. Any damage NEEDS to be notated on the Bill of Lading prior to the driver leaving for an insurance to be valid. If damage, is not noted, the insurance is voided out and will need to be dealt with between you and the shipping carrier.
Billing, refunds & credits
Payment for orders placed using PayPal of Affirm will be captured as soon as the order has been successfully placed. Payments for orders placed using a debit or credit card will be authorized only and captured upon shipping. What does this mean? If your order is in stock, it will be charged normally. For out-of-stock items arriving within 30 days, you may see the authorization temporarily fall off. The funds will be placed back into your account and you won't see the pending charge from us. Once the item ships, you will see the funds deducted and the charge posted to your account. For out-of-stock items after 30 days, the above will take place, however we will have to recharge your card once the item is ready to ship.
Refunds for returned products are issued with 3-5 business days once they are received by our warehouse and inspected. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method originally used to place the order (Credit Card, PayPal, Google, Affirm, Check). All returns, where JM Auto Racing is not at fault, will have 15% restocking fee less than cost of freight. Free shipping items will have the initial freight fees deducted from the final refund. Shipping is only free if you keep the item you purchased. Some items will have a higher restocking fee. This information will be revealed to you up front upon requesting a return. Once the refund has been issued a confirmation email will be sent. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.
Shipping & delivery
To ensure a fast and safe delivery we use FedEx, DHL, Ontrac, USPS, & UPS Ground/Air shipping services. Available shipping methods may vary for different type of products and shipping destinations. Most products in stock ship same day, or within 1 business day after which its delivery can be tracked via tracking number sent to your email. For custom or made to order items shipping time varies as they may have to be manufactured, painted, embroidered, or assembled.
Please keep the following in mind:
- Products that are oversized must ship truck freight / LTL which differs from ground shipments. NOTE: These oversized items require inspection and a signature upon delivery. For more information on freight shipping click here.
- Shipments to Canada are treated as all other international shipments. It is the recipient's responsibility to pay all applicable duties, taxes, & brokerage fees. Detailed Info can be found here here.
- Shipments to HI, AK, PR, Guam, Virgin Islands, APOs, & Canada might require extra shipping charges. International shipping quotes will be e-mailed to the customer before the credit card is charged.
- Oversized items such as hoods, body kits, bumpers, tonneau covers, roofs, trunks and spoilers may require additional postage that is not displayed on the website. You will be contacted prior to the item shipping to confirm.
