    At JM Auto Racing we make returns and other client services as easy as possible. Our mission is to provide you with the best products and the best service in the automotive industry. We understand that sometimes, clients change their minds about products that they order or simply do not need them anymore. We also know that clients are cautious about terms and conditions since they are often tricky and misleading. Our goal is to make the return or exchange process trustworthy and as simple as 1-2-3.

    Returns & Exchanges
    If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery. For orders placed during the holiday season from November 15th to December 31st, the return period is extended to 60 days. The following rules apply:

    • All returns and exchanges must be made via our Return Procedure with a valid & signed RMA form.
    • Returns will have a flat 15% restocking fee.
    • Product(s) must be in new condition and in the original packaging (please do not assemble, install, or modify the product in any way). In the event of fitment, flaw or defect pictures may be necessary to complete your request.
    • Any product that was used or fully/partially installed is non-returnable.
    • In some cases, return of the physical product may not be required. For these products, instructions will be provided on how to process a field destroy or dispose of the original item.
    • The few exceptions for items that cannot be returned include:
      • Items classified as “special order” or “made to order”
      • Custom Wheels & Tires Packages
      • Electronics
      • Any non-EPA compliant product including but non limited to catless test pipes, downpipes, headers and high flow cats. We will try to make as many accomadations as possible however a 25% restocking fee will apply. Please contact us to learn more.

    Cancellations
    We all know that things happen a people change their mind as soon as the purchase things. We take pride in how quickly we get things out the door and with 4 warehouses to ship from plus stock owned at our manufacturers, that speed is always increasing. This is why we only except full cancellations within 30 minutes of placing an in stock order. This helps us ensure your package gets out on the truck immediately or can be flagged before it goes through the packaging process. For orders that are not in stock or special order, we allow 24 hours. Cancellations can be done online by following the instructions found HERE or by emailing [email protected] ,

    Your request will be processed as quickly as possible, but please note that sometimes products ship quicker than expected. After 24 hours, or after an out of stock item has been confirmed, fees will apply to all cancellations with the exception of Special Order items, made to order items or custom built items; which can not be cancelled after the 24 hour period. Items confirmed on reserve or pre-ordered are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

    Cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. This fee is not to rip you off in any way. When you place an order, we lose 3% due to credit card processing, and also another 3% to credit your account. The other 4% is much less then what is needed to cover all other costs and expenses lost by cancelling an order, that was already processed. This fee is will only be imposed on orders that have not shipped. If a special order has been placed, such as pistons, turbo's, etc., and the items are built and ready to ship out, and a cancellation is requested, a 25% cancellation fee will be imposed IF possible to be cancelled.

    What are my shipping fees?
    For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JM Auto Racing error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided.
    Freight, international & non-continental US returns are accepted, however coordination of return shipping is the responsibility of the client. In the event an error is made by JM Auto Racing, a return shipping label will be provided.

    Сore deposits
    Some products sold on JM Auto Racing include a core deposit. These parts have a deposit that is charged upon purchase and fully refunded upon the return of the core. Cores must be in rebuildable condition and matching vehicle application to the product sold. Once the product is received and inspected, the deposit will be refunded to your original form of payment. Note: Product cores returned that are not fully assembled or are not the unit that was removed from the vehicle, will not be refunded and the core will be discarded.     Defective, damaged, or incorrect products
    We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use, install, modify, or repair the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. In some instances, return of the product may not be required. Products must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier. Photos of the damage, defect, or fitment issue may be requested in order to correctly process your request. For items mispackaged or missing, returns and replacements will be handeled as warranty requests, subject to manufacturer involvement and normally handled within 24-48 hours. Please note that products must be in the original packaging and there are additional requirements for products that ship freight.

    LTL and Freight Shipments will cover the delivery of most oversized items, including but not limited to, body kits, hoods, trunks, spoilers, doors, roll cages. Items should be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery. Any damage NEEDS to be notated on the Bill of Lading prior to the driver leaving for an insurance to be valid. If damage, is not noted, the insurance is voided out and will need to be dealt with between you and the shipping carrier.

    Billing, refunds & credits
    Payment for orders placed using PayPal of Affirm will be captured as soon as the order has been successfully placed. Payments for orders placed using a debit or credit card will be authorized only and captured upon shipping. What does this mean? If your order is in stock, it will be charged normally. For out-of-stock items arriving within 30 days, you may see the authorization temporarily fall off. The funds will be placed back into your account and you won't see the pending charge from us. Once the item ships, you will see the funds deducted and the charge posted to your account. For out-of-stock items after 30 days, the above will take place, however we will have to recharge your card once the item is ready to ship.

    Refunds for returned products are issued with 3-5 business days once they are received by our warehouse and inspected. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method originally used to place the order (Credit Card, PayPal, Google, Affirm, Check). All returns, where JM Auto Racing is not at fault, will have 15% restocking fee less than cost of freight. Free shipping items will have the initial freight fees deducted from the final refund. Shipping is only free if you keep the item you purchased. Some items will have a higher restocking fee. This information will be revealed to you up front upon requesting a return. Once the refund has been issued a confirmation email will be sent. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.

    Shipping & delivery
    To ensure a fast and safe delivery we use FedEx, DHL, Ontrac, USPS, & UPS Ground/Air shipping services. Available shipping methods may vary for different type of products and shipping destinations. Most products in stock ship same day, or within 1 business day after which its delivery can be tracked via tracking number sent to your email. For custom or made to order items shipping time varies as they may have to be manufactured, painted, embroidered, or assembled.

    Please keep the following in mind:

    • Products that are oversized must ship truck freight / LTL which differs from ground shipments. NOTE: These oversized items require inspection and a signature upon delivery. For more information on freight shipping click here.
    • Shipments to Canada are treated as all other international shipments. It is the recipient's responsibility to pay all applicable duties, taxes, & brokerage fees. Detailed Info can be found here here.
    • Shipments to HI, AK, PR, Guam, Virgin Islands, APOs, & Canada might require extra shipping charges. International shipping quotes will be e-mailed to the customer before the credit card is charged.
    • Oversized items such as hoods, body kits, bumpers, tonneau covers, roofs, trunks and spoilers may require additional postage that is not displayed on the website. You will be contacted prior to the item shipping to confirm.

    Warranty

    Warranty and Disclaimer

    Items sold by Seibon International, Inc. may not be legal for street use in all states. It is the buyer’s responsibility to comply with applicable state laws. Buyer understands that due to strict U.S. Federal and State safety crash guidelines, Seibon is not responsible or liable for any damages or possible injuries incurred upon possible accidents due to driver error, incorrect installations, bad judgment, or act of nature/God, Allah, Jehovah, etc. All products are intended for off-highway uses only, and should be used for their intended purposes only. Seibon does not take responsibility over buyer installation, modification, and unusual stress of the products. The buyer assumes all responsibilities for determining the suitability of the products. Seibon is not responsible for any damages incurred either directly or indirectly on the vehicles or operators/passengers within the vehicles.

    Customers in countries/regions listed below should purchase Seibon products from the Exclusive Distributor in that region  Purchases made through non-official channels do not qualify for warranties.

    Seibon Fitment Guarantee

    The following situations are fully covered under the Seibon Fitment Guarantee:

    Hoods:

    • Hood does not clear a stock engine
    • Gap between the hood and the fenders are more than 1/2" wide on each side
    • Hood levels more than 1/4" higher or lower than the fenders
    • Latch is 1/16" too long or too short than the stock latch, causing the hood not to latch
    • Please note that Seibon Carbon does not suggest re-installing gas hood shocks/dampers/struts.
    • Seibon does not guarantee fitment on cars that have been in involved in accidents and/or had body damages.
    • Seibon strongly recommends the use of heat shields. Damages to the hood that results from the absence of heat shields will not be covered under warranty.

    Trunks:

    • Gap between the trunk and the rear fenders are more than 1/2" wide on each side
    • Trunk levels more than 1/4" higher or lower than the rear fenders.
    • Please note that Seibon Carbon does not suggest re-installing gas trunk shocks/dampers/struts.
    • Seibon does not guarantee fitment on cars that have been in involved in accidents and/or had body damages.

    Lips:

    • Length of the lip is 3/8" too long or too short than the stock bumper

     

    Seibon Appearance Guarantee

    The following situations are fully covered under the Seibon Appearance Guarantee: (Note that all Seibon carbon fiber products are hand-made, and small imperfections are inevitable. Claims guilty of abusing Seibon's claims program will be denied immediately)

    • Heavy cloudiness under the clear coat (which is only visible under the sun. Seibon apologizes for not being able to QC every product under natural sun light)
    • Clear coat bubble larger than 3/8" in diameter

     

    Seibon Clear Coat Guarantee

    The following situations are fully covered under the Seibon Clear Coat Guarantee:

    • Clear coat changes color more than a full shade within 6 months (Note: like car paint, slight fading and discoloration is natural. The warranty only covers more extreme cases.)

     

    Installation

    All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. All carbon fiber products will not sustain heavy force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force or weight. Seibon has made an effort to produce all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There are absolutely no returns on painted products.

    Hood Pins

    All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. Seibon will not be liable for any damages to the product and the vehicle caused by not properly using hood pins.

    Heat Shields

    Heat shields are required for all carbon fiber hoods, for the same reason that the stock factory hoods use heat shields. Carbon fiber hoods require similar protection, and heat shields can help avoid pre-mature aging and discoloration of the product.

    Shipping Damage

    Seibon packs all products carefully to prevent damage during shipping. However, damage may still occur occasionally. Buyer must inspect the packaging and the products carefully upon receiving them, then accept the shipment and notate any damages and irregularities, such as crushed, torn, punctured, or broken parts on both the packaging and the product, on the freight bill or receipt at the driver's presence. Buyer must retain all cartons, packing materials, and damaged products for the carrier's damage inspector to inspect. Do not refuse shipment or return it without approval, because the buyer's right to make a damage claim may be denied. A signed receipt without any notation indemnified the carrier as well as Seibon from any further damage claims. Discovery of damages after a clear delivery becomes the responsibility of the customer.

    All damages must be notified to carrier and the dealer within 24 hours. In cases of damage with proper notation on receipt, the carrier will determine whether to pay for repair cost or replacement value of the damaged goods after damage inspection. Replacement value is the amount the buyer paid to the distributor and is not negotiable. All disputes about the settlement amount should be addressed with the carrier. Seibon, under no circumstances, shall be liable for the damaged product or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier.

    Defective Products

    All products require professional installation. Minor adjustments might be necessary. These are normal body work and installation steps. Therefore it is NOT considered to be defective. In addition, most carbon fiber products are hand-crafted, and no two items will be identical. Small imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles, and clear coat blemishes are inevitable. Pictures are required to demonstrate true defects on products prior to return. See below for information on our return policy.

    Returns

    Special orders cannot be returned. If the buyer decides to return any part of the ordered item, he or she must contact the distributor who in turn can contact Seibon and receive a return authorization within three (3) days of receiving the parts. A Return Authorization number (RA number) will be issued to the buyer by Seibon, and it must be written on the outside of the packages being returned. Returned products must be received back at Seibon within 10 days of issuing the return authorization. There is no return for any parts that have been used, modified, painted, or installed. All returned products are subject to a 30% restocking fee, plus return-shipment charges. Original shipping and handling fees are not refundable. All products which are approved for return are for store credit only. All products returned must be in the original shipping carton in the same condition as it was originally delivered or shipped. Only the original buyer may request for a return of products. Defective items may be exchanged for the same item only. Upon receipt of returned parts, Seibon shall inspect the parts to determine their exact condition. If Seibon does not accept the goods as being defective and/or returnable, buyer must accept any incurred costs. All returns, regardless of the underlying reason, must be sent shipping prepaid. Any returns sent shipping collect or without RA number will be refused and returned to the buyer at his or her own expense. Shipping costs to and from the purchaser are not refundable. Buyer is advised to insure the returned goods for their full value for his or her own protection. Otherwise, neither Seibon nor the shipping company would be responsible for any damage or loss in shipment. Refund will not be issued on returned products that are damaged on the way back to Seibon.
