Metal Cylinder Head Gasket (814-N208) by APEXi®. The APEXi metal headgaskets provide upgraded protection on high horsepower engines. Factory headgaskets cannot withstand the pressures of high output operation and often cause the engine to "blow." This condition is actually caused by a failure in the factory headgasket. APEXi recommends replacing the factory headgasket with a metal one before gasket failure causes more damage to the engine. At JM Auto Racing we make returns and other client services as easy as possible. Our mission is to provide you with the best products and the best service in the automotive industry. We understand that sometimes, clients change their minds about products that they order or simply do not need them anymore. We also know that clients are cautious about terms and conditions since they are often tricky and misleading. Our goal is to make the return or exchange process trustworthy and as simple as 1-2-3.

Returns & Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will be happy to accept a return for a refund or exchange on products in new/unused condition within 30 days of delivery. For orders placed during the holiday season from November 15th to December 31st, the return period is extended to 60 days. The following rules apply:

  • All returns and exchanges must be made via our Return Procedure with a valid & signed RMA form.
  • Returns will have a flat 15% restocking fee.
  • Product(s) must be in new condition and in the original packaging (please do not assemble, install, or modify the product in any way). In the event of fitment, flaw or defect pictures may be necessary to complete your request.
  • Any product that was used or fully/partially installed is non-returnable.
  • In some cases, return of the physical product may not be required. For these products, instructions will be provided on how to process a field destroy or dispose of the original item.
  • The few exceptions for items that cannot be returned include:
    • Items classified as “special order” or “made to order”
    • Custom Wheels & Tires Packages
    • Electronics
    • Any non-EPA compliant product including but non limited to catless test pipes, downpipes, headers and high flow cats. We will try to make as many accomadations as possible however a 25% restocking fee will apply. Please contact us to learn more.

Cancellations
We all know that things happen a people change their mind as soon as the purchase things. We take pride in how quickly we get things out the door and with 4 warehouses to ship from plus stock owned at our manufacturers, that speed is always increasing. This is why we only except full cancellations within 30 minutes of placing an in stock order. This helps us ensure your package gets out on the truck immediately or can be flagged before it goes through the packaging process. For orders that are not in stock or special order, we allow 24 hours. Cancellations can be done online by following the instructions found HERE or by emailing [email protected] ,

Your request will be processed as quickly as possible, but please note that sometimes products ship quicker than expected. After 24 hours, or after an out of stock item has been confirmed, fees will apply to all cancellations with the exception of Special Order items, made to order items or custom built items; which can not be cancelled after the 24 hour period. Items confirmed on reserve or pre-ordered are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

Cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee. This fee is not to rip you off in any way. When you place an order, we lose 3% due to credit card processing, and also another 3% to credit your account. The other 4% is much less then what is needed to cover all other costs and expenses lost by cancelling an order, that was already processed. This fee is will only be imposed on orders that have not shipped. If a special order has been placed, such as pistons, turbo's, etc., and the items are built and ready to ship out, and a cancellation is requested, a 25% cancellation fee will be imposed IF possible to be cancelled.

What are my shipping fees?
For orders delivered within the continental US where reason for return isn't a result of a JM Auto Racing error, the cost of the initial shipping charge and a return fee will be deducted from your refund. A prepaid shipping label(s) will be provided.
Freight, international & non-continental US returns are accepted, however coordination of return shipping is the responsibility of the client. In the event an error is made by JM Auto Racing, a return shipping label will be provided.

Сore deposits
Some products sold on JM Auto Racing include a core deposit. These parts have a deposit that is charged upon purchase and fully refunded upon the return of the core. Cores must be in rebuildable condition and matching vehicle application to the product sold. Once the product is received and inspected, the deposit will be refunded to your original form of payment. Note: Product cores returned that are not fully assembled or are not the unit that was removed from the vehicle, will not be refunded and the core will be discarded. Defective, damaged, or incorrect products
We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use, install, modify, or repair the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. In some instances, return of the product may not be required. Products must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier. Photos of the damage, defect, or fitment issue may be requested in order to correctly process your request. For items mispackaged or missing, returns and replacements will be handeled as warranty requests, subject to manufacturer involvement and normally handled within 24-48 hours. Please note that products must be in the original packaging and there are additional requirements for products that ship freight.

LTL and Freight Shipments will cover the delivery of most oversized items, including but not limited to, body kits, hoods, trunks, spoilers, doors, roll cages. Items should be thoroughly inspected at time of delivery. Any damage NEEDS to be notated on the Bill of Lading prior to the driver leaving for an insurance to be valid. If damage, is not noted, the insurance is voided out and will need to be dealt with between you and the shipping carrier.

Billing, refunds & credits
Payment for orders placed using PayPal of Affirm will be captured as soon as the order has been successfully placed. Payments for orders placed using a debit or credit card will be authorized only and captured upon shipping. What does this mean? If your order is in stock, it will be charged normally. For out-of-stock items arriving within 30 days, you may see the authorization temporarily fall off. The funds will be placed back into your account and you won't see the pending charge from us. Once the item ships, you will see the funds deducted and the charge posted to your account. For out-of-stock items after 30 days, the above will take place, however we will have to recharge your card once the item is ready to ship.

Refunds for returned products are issued with 3-5 business days once they are received by our warehouse and inspected. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method originally used to place the order (Credit Card, PayPal, Google, Affirm, Check). All returns, where JM Auto Racing is not at fault, will have 15% restocking fee less than cost of freight. Free shipping items will have the initial freight fees deducted from the final refund. Shipping is only free if you keep the item you purchased. Some items will have a higher restocking fee. This information will be revealed to you up front upon requesting a return. Once the refund has been issued a confirmation email will be sent. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.

Shipping & delivery
To ensure a fast and safe delivery we use FedEx, DHL, Ontrac, USPS, & UPS Ground/Air shipping services. Available shipping methods may vary for different type of products and shipping destinations. Most products in stock ship same day, or within 1 business day after which its delivery can be tracked via tracking number sent to your email. For custom or made to order items shipping time varies as they may have to be manufactured, painted, embroidered, or assembled.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Products that are oversized must ship truck freight / LTL which differs from ground shipments. NOTE: These oversized items require inspection and a signature upon delivery. For more information on freight shipping click here.
  • Shipments to Canada are treated as all other international shipments. It is the recipient's responsibility to pay all applicable duties, taxes, & brokerage fees. Detailed Info can be found here here.
  • Shipments to HI, AK, PR, Guam, Virgin Islands, APOs, & Canada might require extra shipping charges. International shipping quotes will be e-mailed to the customer before the credit card is charged.
  • Oversized items such as hoods, body kits, bumpers, tonneau covers, roofs, trunks and spoilers may require additional postage that is not displayed on the website. You will be contacted prior to the item shipping to confirm.

Warranty

APEX Integration, Standard Limited Warranty protects customers against material and manufacturing defects and is limited to the repair, replacement, or credit of the product in question, at no expense to the customer, excluding the cost of inbound/outbound shipping.

Warranty claims must be made in accordance with the Warranty Periods, Requirements, Limitations, and Exclusions listed below. If all conditions necessary for warranty claims are not met, the warranty item will be returned to the business that requested the warranty claim or otherwise disposed, upon customer request.

APEX's warranty contained herein shall commence as of the purchase date of each product by the end-user.

A. Warranty Periods

Three Year Limited Warranty

  • Full stainless steel exhaust and piping
  • RS Evolution Muffler
  • RS Evolution Extreme Muffler
  • Hybrid Evolution Muffler
  • N1 Evolution Muffler

One Year Limited Warranty

  • Exhaust systems and related components
  • Suspension dampers (Oil, Gas)
    - Normal wear and tear related components not covered under warranty
  • Air intake/induction systems and related components

Ninety Day Limited Warranty

  • Engine management electronics (Power FC, AFC NEO, AVC-R, etc.)
  • Monitoring electronics (EL2 meters, Auto Timer, Rev Speed Meter, etc.)
  • Fuel management (Fuel injector, pump, regulator, etc.)
  • Forced induction components (turbocharger, wastegate, blow-off valve, etc.)
  • Engine/Exhaust components (head gasket, exhaust control valve, etc.)

Items not covered by Warranty

  • Products purchased as used/open box and/or garage sale items
  • Consumables including, without limitation, spark plugs and oil filters

An inspection fee of $50.00 USD will be charged for all returns tested to be in good operating condition or found to be malfunctioning or damaged as a result from anything other than a manufacturing defect. Refer to section B-6.

B. Warranty Requirements, Limitations, and Exclusions

1. Warranty terms are extended only to authorized APEX dealers and distributors. APEX does not provide warranty terms to end-users with only exception the product was purchased directly from Apex USA website via online internet retail sale. End-users are to send warranty requests to the place of purchase for warranty processing.

2. All products being sent in for warranty must have an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers are provided by Apexi's Warranty Department only after receiving the warranty card and approving the product in question for return and inspection. APEX is not responsible for products sent back to APEX without an RMA clearly marked on the package and/or no warranty card showing customer's full return address and contact information.

3. Returned products must be accompanied with the Warranty Card which can be downloaded from the APEX USA website @ WWW.APEXI-USA.COM. All fields on the warranty card must be completed. Warranty claims will be rejected if the warranty card is returned incomplete. A copy of the original invoice is also required to show valid proof of purchase from an authorized APEX dealer/distributor. Dealer information, purchase date and part number(s) must clearly be shown on the invoice.

4. Returned products must include all necessary components for testing. All components must be inspected during comprehensive testing and should necessary components be missing, the warranty claim will be rejected. For example, the AVCR must be returned with all key components including the control unit, solenoid valve, pressure sensor, harnesses, and vacuum hoses; a cat-back muffler return must include all piping that shipped in the original carton, not just the problem component.

5. If the serial number (electronic items) or any anti-tampering device is damaged or removed, the warranty is void.

6. Warranties are limited to material and manufacturing defects only. APEX Integration, Inc. will NOT honor warranty requests that involve damages caused by the following:

  • improper installation or use of the product
  • installation of product on a car that is not approved by APEX
  • usage in conjunction with an incompatible or damaged part
  • disassembly, alteration, or modification to the product
  • attempted repair or rework not authorized by APEX
  • racing or competition use
  • improper maintenance and care of product
  • constant exposure to corrosive conditions, such as salt, mud, water
  • accident, negligence, theft, vandalism, fire, and other such causes not related to manufacturing and design issues

7. This warranty policy covers APEX products distributed and sold through authorized APEX distributors and dealers in the United States and Canada. Products purchased outside of the Region and brought into the Region without the authorization of APEX Integration, Inc., are expressly excluded from this warranty.

8. THIS WARRANTY PROVIDES SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND OTHER RIGHTS MAY BE AVAILABLE, WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE/PROVINCE TO PROVINCE. THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE LIMITED, AT APEXI'S EXCLUSIVE DISCRETION AND SUBJECT TO THE TIME LIMITATIONS HEREIN, TO: (1) REPLACEMENT OF ANY NONCONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE PARTS; OR (2) REPAIR OF ANY NONCONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE PARTS; OR (3) CREDIT OF THE PURCHASE PRICE FOR ANY NONCONFORMING OR DEFECTIVE PARTS.

9. APEXI'S WARRANTY HEREIN IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF APEX OR ANY PARENT OR AFFILIATE COMPANY OF APEX, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE CREATED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE OR WHETHER ARISING FROM STATUTE OR COMMON LAW, CONTRACT OR TORT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY NEGLIGENT OR RECKLESS CONDUCT ON THE PART OF APEX. IN NO EVENT SHALL APEX OR ANY PARENT OR AFFILIATE COMPANY OF APEX BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURIES, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR LOSS OF USE OF PROPERTY.
